Started the day at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Although it's a small space, I always love the exhibits - great work and thought provoking. Two videos provided interesting contrasts - aerial footage of an enormous oil refinery in Dallas and a Chinese video documenting a damn that required the destruction of 12,000 cities.
Had lunch at Buddy Guy's Legends while listening to a blues musician. Can't think of a nicer way to eat a bowl of gumbo in this laid back atmosphere.

Buddy Guy's was a great place to relax and escape the busy city life. Lunch was wonderful and the musicians there are incredibly talented. It was very fun to see be able to see and hear how blues music is still such an important part of the city of Chicago.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely a wonderful place to go! I loved the music, he was so talented! The food was amazing as well! I suggest the Andouille Gumbo! =)
