WELCOME

Welcome to the Urban Culture course at Avila University created by Susan Lawlor and Dotty Hamilton.  We travel with our students to great cities to explore art museums, engage with the architecture, study the local film and music venues, and experience the ethnic enclaves as a way to learn about the culture of urban spaces and the interaction of art and environment.  It's a fun, intense learning environment.

"Triplex Nervosa" at the Centaur Theatre

    This play was rather interesting. Triplex nervosa definitely defines the entire play in itself. I definitely enjoyed this play a lot. Although some moments were misunderstood due to the language barrier, I found great interest in the act! It kept me on the edge of my seat. The staging and props were wonderful and added that element that took the play to a grand level. So great I was delighted to donate to their Actors Fund! Five stars to this play and a wonderful experience at Montreal!
